SETKEY

Syntax: SETKEY [network] <#channel> <key>

Sets the key for a channel. The key will be used whenever the bot is to join or rejoin this channel. Please note that if the bot sees a user set a key, it will do an implicit SETKEY internally to memorize the channel key for future rejoins. If you set a key on a channel and the bot fails to join the channel using the key, the key will be marked 'denied' and the bot will not use it again until it is reset to a new keyword. Note that SETKEY does not actually set the +k mode on the channel. You should use the MODE command for this.
